A little history:
Many years back someone told me about third party software programming. At the time I was using, and still am in part, Cadkey™ to design Plastic Injection Molds. At that time I had no idea how programming in the CADL language (which stands for CADKEY Advanced Design Language) would revolutionize and increase my productivity to do Plastic Injection Mold design work.
I spend quite some time to learn syntax and programming flow in the CADL language, which was included in the Cadkey™ software package. Today I’m able to program in the Cadkey™ CADL language and in the KeyCreator™ KXL language (which stands for KeyCreator eXtensible Language), the successor of CADL. Though Cadkey™ is outdated by quite a few versions, which evolved to WorkShop™, and now to KeyCreator™, there are still quite a few people using Cadkey™.
Third party programs can be of great benefit to make mundane tasks faster, automate common task and also for special needs. I have written hundreds of programs over the years for myself and other people, mostly for free. I even wrote a CAM software for Cadkey™ in the CADL language to output G-Code from geometry to a file with a configurable postprocessor. I was going back and forth whether I should post some of my CADL programs here, but I decided against it. If anyone has a need for CADL programs you can contact me below. Anyway, enough said, I hope you enjoy some of the free KXLS on the free KXL programs page, and maybe you are interested in some of my trial KXLS click KXL trial programs. Older KXL programs going back to KeyCreator™ 6 are available by request. As time goes on I may add them. Feel free to contact me for any custom KXL programming needs you might have.
