About me:
I’m an injection mold designer (self-employed), using CADKEY 19 to the latest version of KeyCreator™ specializing in solid and surface modeling; including designing and detailing of complete jobs. I also write Cadl / KXL’s programs for Cadkey / KeyCreator respectively.
My history:
I completed my apprenticeship and worked as a machinist in Germany at Brückner from 1978 – 1984.
In December 1984 I moved to the United States and started to work January 1985 as a machinist, then advanced to a mold maker at Northwestern Tool & Die, now Northwestern Precision manufacturing.
I left Northwestern Tool & Die 1990 and started to work for Delta Tech in Arlington Heights as a mold maker until 1995. At the beginning of that year I was hired into and was part of engineering until mid 1996. Within the engineering department, I began as a designer, which led into lead designer and then project designer.
From there I went to work for Accura Tool & Mold in Crystal Lake as a lead project designer for one year.
We (my wife & I), made a decision to move in the summer of 1997 to Missouri. Here I started my own business (Jennica Mold Design, LLC) which I have to this day.
