I added a new KXL to create External threads via entering variables into a dialog box. The solid will have a true helical form according to the variables entered. The variables will be remembered the next time the program is used.

I had a friend make some cadl files that he compiled that were used for making snow ski shapes back in the Cadkey days before Kubotek took over and it appears that CADL is superceded with KXL files now.
Is there some kind of converter to get these old cadl files to work in Keycreator 6.5 and newer? Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.
What are you doing these days. I am still using Keycreator but an older version since I am pretty well retired except for some occasional ski design so buying a newer version if not cost effective for me and it looks as though Keycreator has a lot more bells and whistles but the general surfacing and solids
package doesn’t appear to be that much more robust. Maybe I am missing something but I spent a little time looking over a demo version and the functions looked alot similar to my old program but more animation stuff. Hope you are well
